Hana Yori Dango 2 announced for January

Due to the overwhelming popularity of the Hana Yori Dango drama that aired last year, it has been announced that there will be a continuation, Hana Yori Dango 2, that will begin airing in January 2007. Since the original series aired, fans on the official website have been clamoring for more. The continuation will pick up where the original ended. The new series will also aim to reflect fans' opinions about what scenes and characters should be included, based on feedback on the official message boards between now and the end of the month. Mao Inoue, Jun Matsumoto, Shun Oguri, Shota Matsuda, and Tsuyoshi Abe will all be returning, along with many other cast members.
