Base Ball Bear does "Kamogawa Horumo" theme

Rising rock band Base Ball Bear has been chosen to provide the theme song for Katsuhide Motoki's comedy movie "Kamogawa Horumo" (more information here). Based on a novel by author Manabu Makime ("Shikaotoko Aoniyoshi"), the film stars Takayuki Yamada and Chiaki Kuriyama.

Base Ball Bear's song is called "Kamigami LOOKS YOU." This will be their second single of 2009, following the release of "LOVE MATHEMATICS" earlier this month. "LOVE MATHEMATICS" set a personal record for them by debuting at #5 on the charts, while their simultaneously released album entered at #10.

"Kamogawa Horumo" opens on April 18.
