Actor Taro Kanasugi (real name Taro Fukazawa) has passed away at the age of 33, it was learned on Friday.
Early in the morning on March 23, Kanasugi was drunk when he fell onto the tracks at the Tokyo Metro station in Ikebukuro. He was diagnosed with a brain contusion and underwent surgery, but he never regained consciousness. At the end of last month his condition worsened, leading to his death just after noon on August 2. Kanasugi was originally a member of the children's acting group Gekidan Nihonjido. In 1988, he appeared in the drama series "3 Nen B Gumi Kinpachi Sensei." He later appeared on the long-running TBS daytime series "Ten Made Todoke," among other roles. More recently, he had a minor role in last year's "Kuitan 2." Link to article |
