The next installment of the "Siberian Express" movie series has found its new director: Takashi Shimizu of "Ju-on" fame. The news was revealed at a press conference on Wednesday by actor Kazuaki Nishida, a veteran of the series. With Shimizu now on board, the series will get its first injection of the horror genre, turning it into a "horror comedy."
The project was initially announced last week at a memorial for the original "Siberian Express" director Haruo Mizuno, who passed away last month. The movie, whose Japanese title is "Siberia Chotokkyu: Shibo Yugi," is not expected to start filming until after Shimizu wraps up a different project being shot this fall. Link to article |
