Rising actress Meisa Kuroki has been confirmed as the co-star in NTV's "One-Pound Gospel" drama series, which stars KAT-TUN's Kazuya Kamenashi.
Based on a comic by popular mangaka Rumiko Takahashi, the story revolves around a skilled young boxer (Kamenashi) who is unable to keep his weight down. He encounters Angela (Kuroki), a naive nun in training, and begins to fall for her as she helps him with his problem. The series starts this January, airing on Saturdays at 9:00pm. Link to article |

It's also been announced that Ryosuke Yamada from Hey! Say! JUMP will be in the show. He's playing the son of the president of the boxing gym that Kame goes to.
I liked his character in "Tantei Gakuen Q" at least (he played Ryu). I think his character here is supposed to have a similar personality. |
