On July 27, The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo (known as MOMAT) will open an exhibit in remembrance of recently deceased members of the film world. The museum runs this display every few years; this marks the event's 12th occurrence. Titled "In Memory of the Film Figures We Lost in 2004-2006," the new exhibit will focus on 80 people and 64 of their works.

Among the people remembered are actors, directors, and musicians, including Kyoko Kishida, Tetsuro Tamba, Tatsuya Mihashi, Jun Negami, Noboru Takaya, Yoshitaro Nomura, Teruo Ishii, Akio Jissoji, Akira Ifukube, and Hiroshi Miyagawa.

The exhibit, which includes film screenings, runs until September 26.
